A Training Center is only as good as the students that fill its classrooms.  If our students are not successful, we are not successful.   Below are just a few of the many student success stories happening at ComputerTraining.com of Delaware LLC.

"I had fairly limited experience working with computers before attending ComputerTraining.com. I had figured some things out on my own and was the person everyone at my office turned to first when they had questions. Working with computers was something that I enjoyed so I wanted to learn more.

The reason I considered a career change was that I had about reached the limit on what I could accomplish at my previous job. I had heard a lot about the IT field and ComputerTraining.com and decided that now was the time for me to make a change.

What I like most about my new career in IT is that everything is fresh and new. Everything is constantly changing. I am faced with a new challenge each and every day. I am still learning even though I have already graduated from ComputerTraining.com.

My biggest concern before entering the program was how I was going to be able to afford the program. The people at ComputerTraining.com and some very supportive friends and family helped everything work out.

The best advice I can give to new students entering the program would be to study hard, read, and enjoy the experience. The tests can be difficult to pass, but if you work hard and are determined, you will succeed. My experience at ComputerTraining.com gave me the confidence to go out into the IT field and apply everything I learned. I am now advancing quickly in the field and I owe it all to ComputerTraining.com."

"My computer background was nothing more than checking e-mails and other minor work related tasks. Besides that, I have had no real formal training until I attend ComputerTraining.Com. I wanted to change my career field mostly due to the fact that technology now has grown tremendously. I of course wanted to join this ever changing field. So becoming certified was a major goal that I set for myself.

I love that fact that I can network with people at a much larger rate than my previous career. I have the ability to learn from others as well as experience different types of activities and challenges that my last career did not offer. My skills have grown and my opportunities to advance are near limitless.

One of my biggest fears starting this program was the uncertainty of passing and beginning a new career. I over came these fears by working hard, getting certified and enlisting the advice and guidance from my instructor, staff and fellow classmates.

I would advise new students attending the program to focus on the new goals they set for themselves and work hard towards them. Paying attention and listening to what the instructor has to say and follow directions carefully are essential tools for success.

Overall, I now have new skills, new friends, new opportunities and a new resource for guidance and advice. With these extra incentives that I received from the program, I now have a bigger brighter and rapidly growing future. A future I thought never existed."

"I never had much of a computer background. I have always liked computers but without being certified I could never accomplish what I wanted to do in it. I love the fact that ComputerTrainining.com gave me the skills I needed to break into IT. In my previous career, I felt I had hit my ceiling. Now the sky is the limit.

I had done HVAC so long, it was all I knew. I was nervous in switching to a career where I had no experience. But with the skills I have learned, my fears are a thing of the past.

Be prepared for a rewarding experience. Be prepared to work hard and if you dedicate yourself, it can be life changing. The experience definitely changed both my life and career. I now have the ability to take my life to where I want it to go. Without ComputerTraining.com, I never would have been able to do it."

"I knew only the basics and how to use a few applications. I’ve always loved computer and how challenging they are. I’ve been trying to break into the field for a long time but could never get through all the “general” courses at a regular school. I needed something that was going to teach me the technical skills I needed to get me into the IT field fast. It’s challenging, it offers room for growth and it keeps me on my toes with the way technology is constantly changing.

Of course failure was my biggest concern! I just kept at it and didn’t give up. I didn’t let the frustration of not getting everything the first time trying get to me. You just have to keep going and trying! The training program is excellent. I would advise new students to stay focused, try not to get frustrated, and to study hard! There will be ups and downs, but in the end, it is all worth it!

It’s given me a sense of accomplishment. I am ready to start a “real” career and build onto what I’ve learned in the program. I feel like the opportunities are endless!"

"My computer background was really just a general love of computers and playing around with them since I was younger. The main reason I got certified was because of the strength it could add to my resume as well as the opportunity to learn more and sharpen my skills for testing. Since earning my certifications, I know an enormous amount more than I used to which has made all the difference in finding a job.

I like my new career because I get to help people as well as work with computers. It makes me happy when I am able to get someone’s computer working for them when they thought all hope was lost or they would not be able to do it. I feel that there are an outrageous amount of opportunities out there for people with a computer-based skill set.

My biggest concerns before starting the course were the student loan bills and feeling that I would not be able to find a job to pay them back when I finished the class. I decided it was now or never though, and went through with it anyway. It was a good decision as I was able to find a much better job and am happy to say I can now afford the payments easily!

My best advice to anyone taking the program would be to study hard and not to take the tests lightly. They can be very difficult. Even if you fail one or more of them several times, you need to keep pushing yourself to pass them. It is very possible and with the right attitude, it can be done. Listen to the instructor. He was great and helped me out a huge amount with his advice, real world experiences, and can-do attitude that made learning easier and more fun.

The overall experience with ComputerTraining.com was great. I met a lot of new people with the same interests and goals as myself who were able to help me along the way. ComputerTraining.com helped me find a career more to my liking and the Career Services department was able to easily help me find a job in the field I loved with a large, growing company."

"I have always had a passion for computers and could see myself in the IT industry but didn’t know how I was going to reach that goal.  Because of my desire, I became curious about ComputerTraining.com and how I could reach such a goal within six months.  My computer background now consists of technical skills in installation and configuration of operating systems, Active Directory administration and design, Network Security, Remote Access and more.  I chose to change my career because I realized that I would reach the highest peak in my field and feel like I was missing something or even worse, not be able to recognize that limit.  I didn’t feel valued and lost my drive. I would feel like I hadn’t accomplished anything had I stayed within my previous field.  Since my new career change, I am able to speak with excitement about my job during a conversation with someone and not lose interest!

At first I was concerned that I would have a problem with my overwhelming schedule because of the demanding job that I had which frequently required overtime.  I felt that there may be a struggle to juggle work and school, or trying to get assignments completed on time.  This pressure led me to stress and worry whether or not I would be able to pursue this opportunity.  I also feared that I may not understand the material or that it may be too technical for me.  Before I let the fears and concerns devastate me, I recalled my initial plan and desire.  I changed my “I think I can” to “I will” and kept my determination above all things.

For new students, I first recommend time management, which is the most important factor when taking an accelerated course.  To avoid the possible roadblocks, attempt to get assignments completed well in advance and review a chapter or two more than you are expected to know prior to your next class.  Start studying for exams on day one and be prepared to ask plenty of questions.  Form study groups and get to know your peers so you can network within and outside of class.  Express your concerns because you are not alone and someone may have the same concern you have.

Overall, my experience with ComputerTraining.com has broadened my technical skills.  The IT industry is constantly developing which makes me excited about the direction my career path is taking.  In this new and exciting career, I never feel like I am working but rather enjoying a hobby!"

"Getting Microsoft Certified has been something I have considered doing for a long time. Computers have always been an interest of mine. I went to college and received a degree in Information Systems. However, like many, I lacked necessary experience to get into the IT field. As a result, I’ve spent several years in the financial industry in a job that lacks opportunities for personal growth and development. I have always wanted a job that I was excited about. I needed a way to jumpstart my IT career and gain the necessary hands-on training to transition into a more rewarding career.

I remember struggling with the decision to enroll with ComputerTraining.com. Some of my biggest concerns were the amount of time I needed to commit to the program each week and if I could even afford the course. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to balance the amount of reading, homework, and exam preparation necessary to be successful with my already busy life. I didn’t want to invest more into my education for a program if wasn’t 100% committed. The staff at ComputerTraining.com was very accommodating and understanding. They assured me that I was a good match for the program.

Now looking back, I’m glad that I decided to take this course. I have learned so many technical skills. It has not only taught me a lot about computers, but also about myself. My instructor reminded the class that what is easy to do is also easy not to do. You have to make the choice. I’ve learned I can do anything if I put my mind to it and expend the necessary effort.

I would recommend this course to anyone serious about a transition into the IT field. I am amazed at how much I have learned in just six months. If you are willing to follow the guidelines that the program suggests, you will be successful. Getting Microsoft Certified requires a lot of hard work, but it is worth it in the end. As a result of ComputerTraining.com, I can confidently say I will be successful in IT.

ComputerTraining.com has opened the door for me, and I am about to embark on a new career path. I have learned the necessary skills to be successful in this business. More importantly, I have learned the confidence to believe in my own abilities. I’m going to work as a production support analyst with a starting salary higher than I earn now. This is a great start for my IT career. I can’t wait to see how many other doors open as a result of my current success."

"My computer background was never a technical one. I used my personal computer in a general way. However, I had the opportunity to observe technicians at work in the field and get a slight understanding of the systems involved in creating computer based network and the systems themselves. I considered certification at ComputerTraining.com simply because I felt that becoming a certified Information Technology technician will be my path into a career I enjoy. The IT field will give me the opportunity to attain higher office, which is something essential to building a career. I have worked in fields that did not offer much growth opportunity even though they were a good source of income.

Before entering ComputerTraining.com, I was concerned that I might not have enough motivation to at least complete the program given its pace and the hours that I would have to devote to it. It was not an easy task but I trusted in the fact that the opportunities for my future far outweighed the discomfort of long hours and lack of sleep. I would advise future students of the program to fully commit themselves and make attending the classes at ComputerTraining.com an uncompromised priority."

"I've built personal computers for myself and a couple of friends.  I have had some experience in writing small scripts for games as well as other small programs.  I’ve read some books on computers and looked into getting A+ certification for years.  I finally made the choice when my job offered a cash buyout.  Now I'm looking towards a career in IT, not just a job.  I have wanted to work with computers on some level since high school but I never sought out a way to get into IT, ComputerTraining.com is the way.

With certification, I have a way to provide for my family that I previously didn't have.  I have a chance to move up in life and make a better life for my family that I didn't have before I went to ComputerTraining.com.  I'm joining a field where the sky is the limit. ComputerTrianing.com helped me achieve a career in IT, something I've wanted for a long time.

I worried that the subject matter would be beyond what I could comprehend since I felt I didn't know much about computers.  I had been out of school for ten years so I wasn't sure if I could still do homework and study while working and spending time with my family.  I found the best way to accomplish everything I wanted, I had to manage my time better and be more constructive with my time.  I scheduled study time and family time around working and I didn't waste time watching a lot of TV.

Universally at the end of class, every student said that we should have spent more time reading the books and studying.  Reading before we went over the chapter gave us an idea of what we were going to learn in class.  But rereading the chapter after learning the chapter in class really helps to lock the information in your brain because now you understand everything the book is talking about.

ComputerTraining.com taught me what I'm capable of doing when I put my mind to something.  I learned the skills necessary to start a career in the IT field and feel confident that I can be a productive employee for a company right out of the program!"

"I heard the commercials on the radio and thought it’s too good to be true. But at the time I knew I needed a change in my life as a full time musician and made the call to check it out and see if this was right for me. When I first came to ComputerTraining.com I knew all the basics of computing. At least I thought I did. I learned something new every day.

My instructor taught me more than just computers and networks.  He taught me how to associate with people on a professional level with integrity, understanding and ethics and challenged me to be something more than myself. That first day I made a commitment to learn everything I could and come out of school with a new career, a new life. It took a lot of hard work and studying, but it was worth it. I learned more in less than a year then I thought was possible.

I got a temp job right after school ended and now I make a good salary with an evaluation in 60 days.  I’m a member of a company that specializes in designing, building and administrating small to mid-sized networks or SOHO’s (Small Office Home Office). We handle doctors, lawyers, accounting firms and more. All businesses need computers and networks to compete in today’s market.

I was afraid at 40+ years old it was too late to learn a new career, but I'm happy to say I was wrong. Everyday I’m faced with something different, and yes I still learn something new every day."
